Your heart is beating faster than usual, your hands feel clammy, your mouth is so dry it feels like you have cotton inside - and your supposed to feel confident. Are you going to an interview or a torture session? The answer is - "it's all in your perspective."

Ideally you would sit poised thumbing through a magazine, feeling relaxed as you wait your turn to have a conversation with the interviewer for the company. Think about it - what do you have to lose here? What's the worst thing that can happen? What if you don't get this job - is the world going to stop turning? If you feel that you are now staying in the middle and doubts of which we to go while both job and love just arrive at a very important stage, hope the below article could help give u some ideas and at least, i believe you would make a good decision.

In these increasingly stressful economic times the choice between love and career has become even more difficult than in the past. Statements such as, “I have no room in my life for a relationship,” or “I was so focused on climbing the ladder of success that I missed the relationship boat altogether,” or even worse, “My marriage ended because I was never home,“ are regular topics in many therapist’s offices. This very black and white thinking has forced people to one side or the other and they are finding it nearly impossible to strike a healthy balance.

It is true that today employers expect more from employees in terms of time and dedication. Professional careers that were once fulfilling adjuncts to a whole life now seem to suck people dry leaving them with little to give to a mate or a family. Family dinners, let alone date nights, have become a luxury reserved for those at a high enough level to make their own choices, those who are self-employed or those who are unemployed. Of course there are still jobs that have set hours and allow for a more balanced life but they are becoming less common. It seems to be an issue that is faced by many across all of the socio-economic spectrum.

So how do you manage this opposing pull? How do you continue to pursue your career goals while not losing sight of your interpersonal ones? In short, it is not easy. You do need to ask yourself some hard questions such as where you see yourself in 5 or 10 years, and how does the job you’re doing vs. the relationship you’re in play into that vision. Some people define themselves by the work that they do and in the absence of a mate, or desire for a mate, that is in fact their priority. This is a very personal choice and there is no one right answer. Certainly many people feel that their career is something they have some control over while meeting a mate and falling in love is left to chance. That statement should be examined carefully for its validity.

If you are in a relationship there are things you can do to make sure that you don’t actually have to make the choice between love and career. Make sure you are on the same page with your partner. If your job requires frequent travel–which can be extremely hard on relationships–carve out very specific times to be together when you are in the same place at the same time. Make a commitment to the time you do have together by focusing on each other. This means setting aside specific times that can be for answering emails, returning phone calls, or attending to work at home. The other times are time off from work periods that are for your partner and or your family. With technology work life has crept into home life like never before. Use your time at work as efficiently as possible so you can get home for that ever important family dinner at least 3 times per week. Take a close look at what your priorities are and try to honor those priorities by living your life accordingly. [healthy relations support group, 2009]

If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even though sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Shut down your computer immediately.
This is the worst virus announced by CNN. It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee last few days, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept".

Many of us have been brainwashed into believing society's definition of success: lots of money, a high-powered job, a picture-perfect family, a big extravagant home and a beautiful body. This might work for some people, but all too often we are left feeling dissatisfied, restless and sad.

No one else is more important, worthy, or special than you. Just because someone is richer, more famous, or more attractive does not make them more valuable than you are. There is goodness and love in you. Do not treat your own physical, emotional, and spiritual health as an afterthought. Make your own well-being a priority. You deserve all the bounty this world has to offer. You are worth it

Okay . . . so maybe you did screw up on a few things, maybe even on most things. Some of us have to learn the hard way. There are really no failures or mistakes, just opportunities for growth. Usually something good does come out of our mistakes. So learn from them, don't repeat them, forgive yourself, and move on.

Be good to yourself. Be kind to yourself. Love yourself. If you are hurting or sad or lonely, honor that. Make time for yourself. Let yourself heal. Don't expect so much of yourself. Let the love within you and others carry you through.

No matter in what circumstances; keeping your confidence alive - you'll find where to go. be urself, be who you are, value what you have... try all your hardest and worth it. Nothing is worth more than the "self-confidence".

Generally, the word "slang" meaning of an informal language that is used by people who is belongs to any particular group; while, "Idioms" are defined as a groups of words that have a meaning which is different from it simple meaning. And as a matter of fact, Idioms are words which are often impossible to guess what they mean; unless, we know exactly what the meaning of those idioms we are using is or we will never get its meaning right if we only translate it simply from - word by word.

Basically, Idioms often have a stronger meaning than its ordinary words or it might refer to the mixed of any words which are related in a way. For example, "Fight a losing battle" has more emphasis than "try to do something you cannot achieve", but they mean the same thing. Hence, either Slang or Idioms are somehow, necessary for us to understand its meaning.

Some common Slang & idioms that we should be familiar with may include as following:

Idioms:

1. "be up to your neck in sth" - be very busy

2. "the final nail in the coffin" - sth that causes failure

3. " be at loose end" - have nth to do

4. " keep a straight face" - not laugh

5. " to burn up the road" - to drive/ride as fast we could

Slang

1. Education + entertainment = Edutainment (ex: TV program- a show about scientific, children tv show related to mathematic, general knowledge and stuffs- so that, they mixed it into one word but still can reflex us about both education & entertainment).

2. Globalization + localization = glocalization (When doing business, it's difficult for any companies to be a kind of globalize business because, globalization is meaning of one product for everyone, in contrary, it is only appears in theory. The truth is that company might set their business in many countries or around the world which might contains various cultures, and stuffs however, they use one brand-name but it doesn't mean they created only one product. Look! do u think that "US Ford car" is the same to "Indian Ford car"? So, work locally but think globally!!!

3. Breakfast + lunch = Brunch (this is kinda simple, i guess...because lots of people might eat only two meals/ day, since they eat late in the morning - eat a heavy meal at around 10am or early 11am so that, the breakfast can replace the lunch time).

Last but not least, Slang & Idioms are mostly being used by a particular group of people. Who knows...if that "particular group of people" might refer to those native speakers! So, we, people should at least try to understand and remember those common slang or idioms, which might be popular in western culture, in case we might be once working in mixed culture or in MNCs. Better familiar, than new to everything!!!
